This is a picture of Chilham Castle
at the turn of the century when it had lots of alterations which
were carried out incorrectly. All the repairs were done in cement
mortar.
The is when the building in 2003 had undergone extensive restoration
due to the lack of maintenance to the building, to undo the years
of neglect.
